RALEIGH, N.C. — November 6, 2025 — The Center for Leadership Studies (CLS) has announced updates to the Leading With Emotional Intelligence course, modernizing the design and delivery to provide a more engaging and seamless learning experience.
The course now features refreshed visuals, a streamlined learning journey and new video content, all designed to enhance clarity and maintain learner engagement. Support materials have also been redesigned to facilitate smoother delivery and improve usability.
“We’ve taken a strong course and made it even stronger,” said Suzie Bishop, VP of Product Development. “At CLS, we’re dedicated to keeping our courses relevant and impactful, updating them as needed to meet the evolving needs of modern leaders. This update underscores our commitment to delivering engaging, innovative and high-quality programs that consistently drive meaningful results.”
Emotional Intelligence (EI) has become increasingly essential for managing both people and performance in today’s dynamic workplace. Recognizing the growing need for emotionally intelligent leaders, our team revitalized the Leading With Emotional Intelligence course to support organizations in strengthening the capabilities that matter most. “Now more engaging, relevant and transformative, this course continues to play a key role in developing strong, well-rounded leaders across organizations,” said Maureen Shriver, CEO at CLS.
Available in in-person instructor-led training (ILT) and virtual instructor-led training (vILT), Leading With Emotional Intelligence remains a powerful 8-hour course that teaches leaders to harness the power of EI to drive performance, deepen engagement and build stronger, more connected teams.
Through discussion, self-assessment and peer learning, participants will develop a deeper understanding of how emotions impact workplace dynamics and apply intentional, empathetic leadership behaviors to foster more positive, productive interactions.
