The Situational Conversations™ course builds on the foundational concepts introduced in Situational Leadership® Essentials, so completion of Situational Leadership® Essentials is required before participating in Situational Conversations™.
This course helps leaders translate the Situational Leadership® approach into practical, everyday conversations designed to support performance, development and engagement. Participants learn how to apply the framework during real-world interactions by preparing for, navigating and following through on conversations with greater clarity and intention.
Participants learn how to:
- Recognize what an individual may need before entering a conversation
- Ask intentional questions to uncover performance challenges and opportunities
- Adapt communication in real time based on the person, task and circumstances
- Balance accountability with the appropriate level of support and direction
- Navigate difficult conversations with composure, empathy and influence
For leaders who have completed Situational Leadership® Essentials, Situational Conversations™ provides an opportunity to strengthen their ability to apply the model in the conversations they’re having day-to-day. By connecting the Situational Leadership® framework to real-world dialogue, Situational Conversations™ helps leaders move beyond simply delivering messages to having meaningful conversations that strengthen relationships, build confidence and drive better results.
